Payment

Payment must be made within 3 days of purchasing goods. Payment can be made by direct credit, Internet Banking, Bank Transfer, Visa, Mastercard and Cash on Pickup We do not accept cheques, Amex, Diners or CRT cards. Please ensure you include the sales reference number when making payment.

Orders paid for using Direct Credit, Internet Banking or Bank Transfer will be shipped upon confirmation that your payment has been received. Payments normally take around 24 hours to reach our bank account.

We are a GST registered company. Once a purchase has been made the buyer will receive an automated sales order with payment details.

Collections from our warehouse must be prearranged  and payment method advised beforehand.

Shipping

Please choose your order carefully as we cannot make changes after it has been and dispatched.

We use Post Haste, Castle Parcels, PBT Couriers, Mainstream Freight, MainFreight and PBT Freight to ship our products depending on weight, size and delivery locations.

All orders are shipped using Track and Trace and require a signature upon delivery

For Courier delivery allow 1-3 working days.
Delivery to Rural Addresses normally takes an extra 1 day
For Freight / Transport delivery allow 1-5 working days

The delivery times are only estimates and quoted in good faith, delays can happen outside of our control. Please contact us if you have any concerns on delivery and we can follow up the delivery with the carrier. We take no responsibility for courier and transport delays and cannot offer any compensation.

Please supply a physical delivery address as our couriers don’t deliver to P.O.Box’s.

Products are couriered securely to your address and must be signed for, or freighted to the closest Urban Freight depot for collection.

Door to door standard courier delivery service requires easy access to ground level only, (no stairs or lifts). Some customer assistance may be required for heavy products

Unless otherwise stated all deliveries are made between Monday & Friday during normal business hours.

Orders placed on a New Zealand public holiday will be processed on the next business day.

If for some reason we cannot fulfill your order within the specified time frames you will be notified by email or phone of the new delivery time.

Before signing the Couriers Ticket or Freight Carriers delivery docket, inspect your goods for signs of any damaged packaging. Write details of any damage on the delivery docket and then sign it.

You MUST notify us within 48 hrs of any internal or external damages to your goods.

 

Damages or Loss in Transit

Goods leaving the seller’s premises are adequately packed. Claims for damage or loss in transit must be made as follows:

Prior to acknowledging delivery to the courier or carrier, the buyer must ensure that the complete consignment has been received. Should there be a shortage or visible damage to outer packaging the deliverers docket must be endorsed accordingly at the time the goods are delivered.

You must notify EasyQuip of any damage (internal or external damage) within 48 hours of receiving the goods, not contacting us within this time frame may hinder our chances of lodging a claim with the courier /  transport company

 

Warranty Conditions:
  1. If a particular listing does not contain any warranty information then  EasyQuip  automatically provides a 30 day Return to Base Domestic Warranty. Please check each listing carefully for correct warranty type and period.
  2. The Buyer must check the item(s) immediately after purchase / delivery and report any transit damage or faults by email within 48 hrs of receiving the item.  EasyQuip reserves the right to refuse courier claims that are made after this time frame.
  3. Contact must be made directly with  EasyQuip for approval prior to returning goods under warranty, invoices will be required as proof of purchase. Photos or other forms of evidence may also be requested from the Buyer. 
  4. EasyQuip will replace or repair where possible and refunds will only be offered where a replacement is not available. Original courier charges are non-refundable. Refunds will not be considered after the item has been used, if the buyer simply changes their mind or if the item is not “what you expected', Please choose your purchase carefully.
  5. Products must be returned with all accessories including their original packing materials, cartons and boxes.
  6. The Buyer has the responsibility and expense of sending back any faulty product to  EasyQuip. We do not accept returns by C.O.D and the return postage must be paid entirely by the Buyer. In return  EasyQuip is liable for sending the repaired item or replacement back to the Buyer, except in the case that the returned item is tested and found not faulty or not in the same condition that the buyer reported. In which case, the buyer will be required to pay for return postage costs and the item will be sent back at the buyer's expense.
  7. Warranties are not transferable beyond the original buyer.
  8. Warranty valid in New Zealand only.
  9.  EasyQuip adheres to the Consumers Guarantees & Fair Trading Acts.
  10. Warranty does not cover:
    1. Normal wearable and service parts of a product ie. Chains, Cutting Parts, Spark Plugs, Filters etc.
    2. Incorrect assembly, misuse, abuse or use of a product for which it was not designed.
    3. Neglect and careless storage.
    4. Unauthorized repairs.

Privacy Act


Any disclosure of personal information will be strictly controlled and made fully in accordance with current New Zealand law. Should you breach our terms and conditions or terms of use or if we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation, we may disclose your information to a relevant authority. This may include exchanging information with other companies and organizations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
